Soccer News: Region I Champions Advance to National Cup
The 2015 US Youth Soccer Region I Presidents Cup kicked off Saturday in Slippery Rock, PA. Teams from US Youth Soccer Region I (East) competed from May 23-25 to advance to the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. The champions were crowned today.
The 3-day tournament featured 99 US Youth Soccer teams that had won their respective State Presidents Cup events from 15 US Youth Soccer State Associations: Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern New York, New York West, Eastern Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania West, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.
