2017 Albion Cup National Showcase Kicks Off
Known for developing home grown players and providing excellent college placement, the Albion Soccer Club is one of the top youth soccer clubs in America. The successful 2017 Albion Cup kicks off on Friday and provides elite youth soccer players with the opportunity to create lasting impressions on college coaches.
Youth Soccer News: The Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase is one of the largest and most professionally well-organized youth soccer events in the USA.
Held annually in San Diego, this elite youth soccer tournament takes place on July 14-17, and provides top youth players the opportunity to compete at the highest level in front of top college coaches from around the country.
The Tournament hosts many of the most elite teams in the country, with teams coming from Northern California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, New York and teams from around the country as well as teams from Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and England to compete in San Diego.
The Albion Cup Showcase welcomes boys and girls U8-U19 teams to play in either the Top Showcase Group or the Cup Group.
The tournament opened Friday night for the U16 Showcase flight and the rest of youth soccer competition kicking off on Saturday, July 15th.

Albion SC is nationally respected for developing excellent home grown players. LA Galaxy’s Ariel Lassiter is a big fan of Albion SC, the youth soccer club where he trained for many years.
“Noah Gins is a winner and that is what I am about,” says Lassiter who signed with the LA Galaxy in March. “Noah really inspired me and taught me the responsibility of being a forward.”
The Albion Cup National Showcase attracts teams that dream big — just like Lassiter. Top college soccer programs from across the country have gathered in San Diego to scout future prospects for their programs.

There will be many top coaches from colleges and universities all across America including Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State San Marcos, San Diego State University, St. John’s University, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, University of Redlands, and the University of San Diego.
