NWSL Announce 2017 Playoff Schedule
The 2017 NWSL Playoffs are approaching as three clubs remain in the hunt for the final two berths during the remaining weeks of the regular season. Lifetime will broadcast all matches of the playoffs as well as streams being available on the Lifetime iOS and Android apps.
NWSL Soccer News: The National Women’s Soccer League has released the schedule of the 2017 NWSL Playoffs that will kick off the second weekend of October. The NWSL Championship will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 4:30 p.m. ET at Orlando City Stadium in Florida.
The semifinals will be hosted by Portland Thorns FC on Saturday, October 7, at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon, and by the North Carolina Courage on Sunday, October 8, at Sahlen’s Stadium in Cary, N.C. Both games will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The Chicago Red Stars, Orlando Pride and Seattle Reign FC are the three clubs remaining in contention for the final two playoff berths.
Lifetime will broadcast live all three matches of the 2017 NWSL Playoffs, and the games will also be available for both live and on-demand streaming via the Lifetime iOS and Android apps and MyLifetime.com. International fans can watch on the NWSL app and NWSL website.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2017 NWSL Championship starting as low as $20. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase seats throughout the 25,500 capacity venue, including in the North end of Orlando City Stadium – North America’s first safe-standing supporter’s section.
