Poway Country Shootout To Kickoff Memorial Day Weekend
As summer tournament season approaches, youth soccer players looking to take their skills to the next level will be suiting up for showcases across the country. What better way to continue to kick off the season than in a local tournament bringing together great youth teams in Southern California? What fun!
Youth Soccer News: The 2017 edition of the the Poway Country Shootout is right around the corner as top competitive youth teams prepare for a weekend of soccer action.
Hosted by San Diego youth soccer organizations Poway Youth Soccer League and Poway Vaqueros, the annual tournament welcomes top tier teams from the region during the sunny months of summer. A great way to prepare for the 2017/18 youth soccer season, every team competing will be playing a minimum of 3 games — with no games played on Memorial Day.
Held over Memorial Day Weekend — May 27 – 28 — the premier youth tournament will welcome boys and girls between age groups 2009-1999. Matches will be held at various locations in Poway with field quality remaining at an all-time high.
