Soccer News: Ben Polk Scores Five Goals In Two Games
K-W United FC forward Ben Polk has been named the PDL Player of the Week for the sixth week of the 2015 season after he scored five goals in two games to lead his side to a pair of victories.
Polk scored twice as United took a 3-1 win against Derby City Rovers on Friday evening to open the club’s two-game road trip. He then notched a hat trick the following night as K-W romped to a 5-0 win against the Dayton Dutch Lions.

M – Jacori Hayes, D.C. United U23: Scored the opening goal as D.C. handed Reading its first loss of the season
M – Mael Corboz, New York Red Bulls U23: Had the game-winner as the Red Bulls U23 rallied for a 4-3 win against LVU Sonic
M – Alejandro Pastor, FC London: Continued his strong run of form with a pair of goals in London’s 5-2 win against TFC Academy
M – Sergio Royo, Mississippi Brilla FC: Had a goal and two assists as Brilla claimed a 4-0 win against Laredo
F – Brett Campbell, Reading United AC: Scored a hat trick as Reading rolled past F.A. Euro in a 6-0 win
F – Ben Polk, K-W United FC: Had five goals in two games as United remained strongly in contention in the Great Lakes Division
