New York City Boys Soccer Player Combine at Flushing Meadows Park
The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) and Big Apple Youth Soccer League (BAYSL), two leagues headquartered in New York City, are again partnering with one another to host a player combine. This event, in its second year, will take place on Saturday, November 14 at Flushing Meadows Park Fields #8 and 9. The CJSL currently has over 5,000 registered players plus BAYSL has over 1,000 and both leagues play under the umbrella of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA).
“Because of our proximity to one another, this event makes perfect makes sense that both leagues work together to provide a worthy opportunity for our older players and we look forward to working together on other events in the near future,” said CJSL President Dimitrie Draguca.
BAYSL President Luis Montoya added, “This player combine is the result of our wonderful relationship with the CJSL. Some of our boys teams even play in their league.”
This event is open to high school-aged boys soccer players in both leagues looking to play college soccer and is an opportunity to showcase themselves in front of college coaches from all divisions. The schedule:
8:45 am: Registration and introduction
9:30 am: Warm-up
10:00 am: Technical and performance drills
10:45 am: Small-sided 8v8 games
11:30 am: 11v11 games
12:30 pm: Final remarks

Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association: With over 100,000 youth soccer players–both boys and girls–and more than 25,000 volunteers, the non-profit Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) stretches from Montauk Point, Long Island to the Canadian border. Members are affiliated with 11 leagues throughout the association, which covers the entire state of New York east of Route 81.
