Club Tijuana Could Clinch First Place In Group 2 vs. Coras de Tepic
Soccer News from Club Tijuana – Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles will visit Coras de Tepic in a Week 4 match of the Copa MX Tuesday night. It is the second leg match of the home-and-home series set for a 6 p.m. (Pacific) kickoff.
Coach Miguel Herrera’s team could clinch first place in Group 2 of the domestic tournament featuring teams from the First and Second Division. The win would send the Xoloitzcuintles into the post season. Club Tijuana enters the match with 10 points with three wins in as many matches.
Club Tijuana trained at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara stadium Monday morning and closed out preparations for its Copa MX match. The team then bussed to Tepic.
The Xoloitzcuintles lead the series after a 3-2 win against Coras last Week in Tijuana.
