San Diego Sockers Set to Face Tacoma Stars in First Round of Playoffs
The Major Arena Soccer League Playoffs are approaching as the San Diego Sockers are set to face the Tacoma Stars in the first round. The series consists of a two-game matchup with the Sockers aiming to build upon their past success in arena soccer and add to their trophy list since the recent league merger.
Soccer News: The schedule for the first round of the Pacific Division playoffs has been set.
After its 5-4 win over the Ontario Fury Friday night, the Tacoma Stars ceded home-field advantage to the San Diego Sockers.
Therefore, regardless of their result against Dallas and whether San Diego finishes second or third in the division, the first round of the playoffs is already scheduled.
The Sockers will play the first match against the Stars at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington on Wednesday with kickoff slated for 7:35pm PT.
The return match (and if needed, the mini game) will take place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA on Sunday, March 6th at 5:05pm PT.
