Dallas Cup Releases Tournament Schedule
With Dr Pepper Dallas Cup approaching, the full tournament schedule has been released as teams prepare to travel to Texas for one of the most prestigious international youth soccer tournaments in the country. Dallas Cup will welcome top teams from abroad with the opening match including Monterrey from Mexico facing off against the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team.
Soccer News: The Dr Pepper Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in the United States, has released the brackets and schedules for the 2016 tournament. The 184 participating teams, hailing from 17 states and featuring 67 international teams from five continents, will play their games at the Cotton Bowl Stadium, the Classic League Soccer Complex at Richland College, MoneyGram Soccer Park in Northwest Dallas, and Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXVII will take place from March 20 – 27, 2016.

For the second year in a row, Toyota Stadium will host the tournament’s “Championship Weekend”, which includes the Gordon Jago Super Group semifinals and the championship finals for the eight age groups.
The 37th edition of the annual tournament kicks off on Sunday, March 20 featuring a U.S. vs. Mexico marquee matchup at the Cotton Bowl, as the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team takes on 2015 Super Group finalist Monterrey of Mexico.
