US Youth Soccer & Fusionetics Announce Healthcare Partnership
US Youth Soccer announce its latest partnership with Fusionetics, a performance healthcare solutions company designed to provide athletes with resources to understand, monitor and improve performance.
Youth Soccer News: US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in the United States, and Fusionetics, the world’s foremost providers of evidence-based performance healthcare solutions, are excited to announce a new performance healthcare partnership.
Fusionetics’ performance healthcare solutions are designed to help athletes understand, monitor and improve performance. The Fusionetics assessments and programs will protect and benefit the athletes in US Youth Soccer, a nonprofit and educational organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development of America’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition.
“US Youth Soccer is the leading American organization dedicated to the development of the sport of soccer for all ages and levels of competition, and I am proud to announce this performance healthcare partnership,” said Fusionetics Chairman, Founder & CEO Dr. Micheal Clark. “With more youth athletes playing soccer every year, it is essential they be provided with the best tools and technology to succeed.
“Currently, over 50,000 young soccer players leave the sport every year due to preventable injuries. Working with US Youth Soccer, the team at Fusionetics is confident our evidence-based intervention strategies will reduce the risk of injury, allow more young athletes to continue their soccer experience and maximize athletic performance. This partnership will allow Fusionetics to assess, score and deliver personalized training and recovery solutions.”
Fusionetics and US Youth Soccer will offer evidence-based movement assessments, as well as corrective, performance and recovery programming to the athletes and coaches of US Youth Soccer member clubs.
Fusionetics is committed to providing each US Youth Soccer athlete the opportunity to participate in Fusionetics Movement Efficiency tests at select US Youth Soccer events. Testing will include a simple movement assessment and personalized programming and treatment. The circle of impact will be widened throughout the nation with Fusionetics’ access to more than 6,000 medical facilities across the country.
The creation of the US Youth Soccer Performance center, comprised of core athlete movement and future soccer specific programming, will look to directly impact and correct performance, and mitigate the risk of future injury for US Youth Soccer athletes.
“US Youth Soccer is committed to the health and wellness of our young athletes, and we are proud to align with Fusionetics, who positively impact sport through advanced medical practices that are proven to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury for everyone from youth players to the world’s finest professional athletes,” US Youth Soccer CEO Chris Moore said. “Last year, our US Youth Soccer National League teams went through Fusionetics testing and the feedback was tremendous. This summer, the top 96 teams in the country will share in the experience at the US Youth Soccer National Championships in Frisco, Texas, and then we look forward to rolling out this great program nationwide.”
