NPSL Regional Finals Conclude this Weekend
NPSL Regional Finals will come to a close this weekend as teams gear up for the final few weeks of the 2016 campaign. Undefeated Albion SC Pros takes on Sonoma County Sol in San Diego, while other undefeated side Chattanooga FC host Miami United at Finley Stadium on Saturday.
NPSL Soccer News: All but one stage is set for the Regional Finals of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) Playoffs as teams gear up for a make of break push to the National Semifinals held next weekend.
Midwest Region Playoffs:
The Midwest Region Playoffs will begin on Friday with semifinal matches set to kick off the weekend. All games will be hosted by Grand Rapids at Houseman Field with the Midwest Region Final taking place on Saturday.
The opening Midwest Regional Semifinals match sees AFC Cleveland (#1 East) facing off against AFC Ann Arbor (#2 West) with kickoff set for 4:30 PM. The second semifinal match will include Grand Rapids FC (#1 West) taking on Indy Eleven NPSL (#2 East) at 7:30 PM.
The winners of the two matches will play on Saturday in the Midwest Region Finals at Houseman Field at 7:30 PM.
Northeast Region Finals:
The Northeast Region Finals will see Clarkstown Eagles (#1) taking on Keyston Conference rival New Jersey Copa FC (#6) at 4 pm at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ. Clarkstown Eagles defeated Legacy 76 with a 1-0 advantage to reach the region finals, while New Jersey Copa FC topped the defending national champions New York Cosmos B with a 1-0 victory.
South Region Finals:
Chattanooga FC (#1) will host Miami United (#3) in the South Region Finals at Finely Stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 PM. CFC recorded a dominating 4-0 win over the Houston Dutch Lions FC in the semifinals as Miami topped the Atlanta Silverbacks at home. Check out the article on Sometimes It Feels Like Magic.

West Region Finals:
The West Region Finals will be held at Mission Bay Stadium as the undefeated Albion SC Pros (#1) host Sonoma County Sol (#4). Kick off is set for 7:00 PM in San Diego.
The Sol advanced to this year’s regional final thanks to a 3-1 win over East Bay FC Stompers and a 3-0 win over North County Battalion. Albion Pros defeated OSA FC in the semifinals led by goals from forward Matt Clare and midfielder Raymundo Reza in a 2-1 win.
