NPSL Supporters’ XI Announced
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) 2016 NPSL Supporters’ XI is an all-league team — voted on by the NPSL’s fans and supporters. The online voting took place from July 24th – July 27th and each team consists of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards. The NPSL Supporters’ XI awards includes First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention.
NPSL Soccer News: The Finals of the National Premier Soccer League 2016 NPSL Supporters’ XI all-star teams — First, Second and Honorable Mention — were voted by fans and each team consists of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards. Guess who were the fan favorites? No surprise that Chattanooga FC fans spoke up loud and clear and had their favorite players take 7 roster spots out of 11 on the First Team. The surprise fan vote came for forward Matt Clare from Albion SC Pros who also earned a spot on this top team. Rochester River Dogz players earned two roster spots and Tulsa Athletics‘ Leung secured the last roster spot.
The 2016 NPSL Championships: AFC Cleveland vs Sonoma County Sol will be held on August 6 at 7: 00PM in Cleveland, Ohio and neither of these two teams had players earn spots on the fan favorite’s First Team.
Sonoma County Sol had two players; Forward Diego “Toluca” Lopez and Defender Nicholas “Ebby” Lombardi earn spots on the Honorable Mention team — AFC Cleveland players had two players earn roster spots on the Second Team – GK Anthony Flowers and Defender Colton Long.

The NPSL remains one of the largest national leagues in North America.
