Adidas Soccer Releases New #NeverFollow Video
adidas soccer has released its latest #NeverFollow video in the wake of the MLS Cup Final scheduled for this coming weekend. The video also pays homage to the global brand’s new Red Limit collection that features its BOOST technology for the first time.
Soccer News: adidas soccer released a new film starring MLS Cup finalist Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), and Sacha Kljestan (New York Red Bull), Jack Harrison (New York City FC), Cyle Larin (Orlando City SC) and Graham Zusi (Sporting KC), in conjunction with the release of the brand’s new Red Limit collection and Major League Soccer’s 21st Cup Final.
The collection features the new ACE17+ PURECONTROL, which combines the brand’s BOOST technology with soccer boots for the first time while also offering a street version of each silo.
Urging young athletes to create their own path rather than following their heroes, the film features six MLS professionals as they showcase the skills needed to win titles. A voiceover from a young player defiantly replies back by declaring he isn’t interested in mimicking the pros; he just wants their boots to create for himself.
Altidore will lead Toronto FC to their first MLS Cup appearance as the Canadian side welcomes Western Conference Champions Seattle Sounders FC to BMO Field on Saturday, December 10th.
