NWSL Soccer News: The fourth week of the 2017 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season kicks off on Saturday with a series of competitive matchups scheduled across the United States.
The Chicago Red Stars open the weekend on Saturday versus the Houston Dash in the Lifetime Match of the Week at Toyota Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET.
The Red Stars are looking to jump-start their season following their second loss of the year in Week 3.
Houston is led by Kealia Ohai who scored the winning goal versus Washington last week. The tally marked Ohai’s second on the year as she was named to the NWSL Team of the Month. Houston sits with two wins and a single loss on the year.
The match will air nationally on Lifetime.
The Washington Spirit hosts Sky Blue FC in the second Saturday matchup at Maureen Hendricks Field at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
Sky Blue is coming off its first win of the 2017 campaign after edging FC Kansas City in Week 3. 2016 NWSL Rookie of the Year Raquel Rodríguez scored the lone goal of the match as Sky Blue head on the road for their third away game of the season. Washington is still searching for its first win of the season after falling twice and recording a draw.

Portland Thorns FC closes out Saturday as they welcome Seattle Reign FC to Providence Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET.
Portland edged Chicago during Week 3 as Nadia Nadim converted from the penalty spot. The Thorns sit with two wins and a single loss on the year. Seattle suffered a three-goal loss to the Boston Breakers as they sit with one win, a tie and loss.

The Boston Breakers host the North Carolina Courage at Jordan Field in the first of two Sunday matchups. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. ET.
Boston sits with two wins and a loss on the year as the club comes off a dominant victory over Seattle. Boston was led by forward Adrian Leon who recorded a goal and two assists as she received NWSL Player of the Week honors for her performance. Rose Lavelle, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NWSL Draft, recorded her first goal of her professional career in the win.
The Courage remain the only unbeaten club in the league as they come off a 3-1 victory over the Orlando Pride. Forward Jessica McDonald has one goal and an assist in 2017, while Lynn Williams has recorded one goal on the year.

In the final matchup of Week 4, FC Kansas City will welcome the Orlando Pride to Children’s Mercy Victory Field with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET.
FCKC is coming off consecutive losses after winning its season opener, while Orlando is still searching for its first win of the 2017 season.
