Finals Teams Advance to US Youth Soccer National Championship Series
The final teams were crowned at the US Youth Soccer Region I (East) Championships as the stage is complete for the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series that kicks off later this month.
The National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions, US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, for boys and girls teams in multiple age groups as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to the regional championship tournaments.
Youth Soccer News: US Youth Soccer crowned 16 champions at the 2017 US Youth Soccer Region I (East) Championships and commend their success in the state and regional championships of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.
The US Youth Soccer National Championships will consist of US Youth Soccer Regional Champions in the U13 through U19/20 Boys and Girls age groups as well as the US Youth Soccer National League qualifiers in the U15 through U19/20 Boys and Girls age groups to complete the field of 96 teams.

New Jersey led the way with four Region I titles, while Maryland and Virginia were close behind with three winners each. Eastern Pennsylvania and PA West both won two titles, and Eastern New York and New York West each had one champion. West Coast FC (CA-S) won three titles as a club, while Celtic FC (UT) claimed two.
Beadling SC (PA-W), Loudoun (VA), Baltimore Celtic (MD) and SDFC (NJ) all claimed more than one championship as a club. Of the returning champions, only one, U17 Girls HBC Impact 00 (NY-E) defended their Regional championship. With the win, HBC Impact has now won three consecutive Region I Championship titles.
The Region I Champions have earned the opportunity to advance to the third and final stage of their quest for the National Championship. The teams will join the 40 National League qualifiers and the champions from Region II (Midwest), Region III (South) and Region IV (West) tournaments for the National Championships in Frisco, Texas.
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on more than 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer’s 55 State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
