2017 NPL Finals Kicks Off On Wednesday
Top youth teams from across the country will gather in Indiana on Wednesday at the kickoff of the 2017 NPL Finals. Aspiring youth players will have a chance to impress college scouts as they push their talents to the final stage of US Club Soccer’s annual event.
Youth Soccer News: The 2017 NPL Finals kick off on Wednesday as elite youth teams from across the country compete at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.
“Participating at our Finals events is a great accomplishment, and Grand Park provides a rewarding, national championship atmosphere for those deserving teams,” said US Club Soccer CEO Kevin Payne. “Grand Park was an ideal facility last year and, as it continues to grow, it will be even better next year.”
The event marks the return of US Club Soccer’s league-based national championship competition to Grand Park, as the 2015 NPL Finals was hosted at the complex.
One of the most prestigious championships in the country, the NPL Finals features the champions of NPLs across the United States from the U13 through U18/19 age groups. Teams play group games before advancing to knock-out rounds to determine the NPL national champion in every age group.
The event welcomes college recruits from across the country as they search for future talent to bring into their programs. U15 through U19 participants are required to have online scouting profiles completed with US Clubs Soccer’s college recruitment partner, SCOUTINGZONE.
