Xoloitzcuintles Win Big At Home
Club Tijuana Under-17 beats Necaxa 3-2, Under-20 ties 1-1
Soccer News: Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles youth teams earned points during their respective Week 2 matches against visiting Club Necaxa Friday at Estadio Caliente.
The Under-17 team earned three points with a 3-2 win. Jesus Ochoa (21st minute), Jesus Vega (76th) and Samuel Lopez (79th) scored for the Xoloitzcuintles. Jair Cortes scored twice (23rd and 44th) for the visitors.
The Under-20 squad got a goal from Edgar Lopez in the 56th to tie the match. Juan Obregon Jr. scored for Necaxa.
Both Club Tijuana youth teams will travel next to Monterrey to face the Rayados de Monterrey Saturday Jan. 20.
