Former Danish Superliga Champion to Join Orange County Soccer Club in 2018.
Soccer News: Orange County Soccer Club announced the signing of Thomas Enevoldsen, pending P1, league and federation approval.
The striker joins the club from the NAC Breda of the Dutch Eredivisie having made 12 appearances and recording 1 goal this season.

Orange County Soccer Club has just signed international Thomas Enevoldsen, pending P1, league and federation approval. Enevoldsen has over 270 appearances to his name in the top divisions in Denmark, Belgium, and Holland, including 11 appearances for the Danish national team.
Enevoldsen, 30, made his full international debut for Denmark against Hungary for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying game in 2009. Following helping his nation qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, he then started in their first match of the FIFA 2010 World Cup against Holland. He recorded his only national team goal against Senegal in 2010.
“Thomas is a highly experienced player who possesses a striker’s instinct that we believe contribute greatly to our club,” said Orange County SC General Manager & Executive Vice President Oliver Wyss.
“He adds a depth and quality to our front line and we are excited to have him join our team.”
Born in Aalborg, he made his club debut with Aalborg Boldspiklub (“AaB”) in 2005 and would go on to play 31 of 33 Superliga games, during AaB’s championship-winning 2007-08 Danish Superliga season. Enevoldsen made appearances in the 2007-08 UEFA Cup, most notably scoring against Tottenham Hotspur FC at White Hart Lane. In 2008-09 he competed on the highest level in club competition in the UEFA Champions League, against Manchester United FC, Villarreal CF and Celtic FC.
The following season he transferred to FC Groningen of the Eredivise for $2 million dollars, signing a 5-year contract with them. He went on to score 11 goals in 69 appearances with the club. He would then move to KV Mechelen of the Belgian Pro League in 2012 before returning to AaB in the Danish Superliga, scoring 12 goals in the 2015-16 season.
