New York Youth Soccer News: The LIJSL’ latest partnership is with the Cogeo Sports
The Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), the largest league in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA), is very pleased to announce its latest partnership with non-profit management experts and considered a one-stop shop for soccer clubs, Cogeo Sports & Entertainment.
Per the terms of the agreement, all LIJSL member clubs will have access to Cogeo’s expertise and services which include fundraising, sponsorships and tournament management.
Cogeo partners with sports academies/clubs and professional athletes to help them use their unique platform to accomplish their specific philanthropic and fundraising objectives.
All LIJSL clubs will have access to educational resources and an opportunity to learn how each of these services can create an additional, positive revenue stream, in addition to membership dues, to support their operational needs.
“We are very pleased to partner with Cogeo Sports & Entertainment to provide this exciting opportunity to our member clubs to work with their management team. They can only benefit from Cogeo’s experience and success in developing and directing fundraising campaigns and have executed sponsorship deals for brands such Gatorade, Adidas, Topps, and Nissan,” commented LIJSL Director of Marketing & Member Services Steve Padaetz. “Their soccer-specific industry experience in assisting organizations with feasibility studies, such as the California Youth Soccer Association and East Bay United, to managing comprehensive fundraising initiatives for clubs and academies, such as with West-Mont United, the San Francisco Elite Academy and the YSC Academy, Cogeo’s suite of services will undoubtedly continue to promote the beautiful game and will only further assist our membership.”
Patrick Sampson, the CEO of Cogeo Sports & Entertainment, views the partnership as a tremendous opportunity for the league and its 104 member clubs.
He stated, “The LIJSL’s choice to partner with Cogeo is yet another example of the league’s industry leadership, vision and proactive approach to supporting the financial and operational success of its member clubs. Cogeo is excited to be an important resource for fundraising education, sponsorships and tournament management to ensure each member club has the long-term financial resources to achieve its operational mission.”
The new partnership will kick off at the LIJSL’s upcoming 36th Annual Convention on March 9 to 11 at the Huntington Hilton as Cogeo presents an education series specifically for LIJSL clubs.
