Largest Youth Futsal Organization in USA Adds Leadership
U.S. Youth Futsal is preparing for the growth of the sport and is expanding support to its leagues and affiliates across America.
U.S. Youth Futsal (USYF), the largest U.S. Soccer affiliated futsal organization in the United States selected Jorge Marin as Executive Director.

“U.S. Youth Futsal has done everything right to get to this point and I will ensure that my effort is focused on continuing to develop U.S. Youth Futsal as a place where youth players around the country are offered the best development opportunities through our competitions and programs. U.S. Youth Futsal will also be committed to building a platform to support and showcase all of our affiliates and partners,” said Marin.
“Marin has the experience and vision to take U.S. Youth Futsal to the next level as a national sports league,” said U.S. Youth Futsal President and co-founder Jon Parry.
“U.S. Youth Futsal has been looking for the right time and person to lead the organization to the next phase of growth for USYF and we are very excited to welcome Marin to the Executive Director,” said Parry. “This is an important moment in U.S. Youth Futsal’s history and Futsal in the United States. Our mission is to bring the absolute best experience to youth futsal players around the country and its territories. Together, under Marin’s leadership, we will achieve that goal at larger and larger scales.”
U.S. Youth Futsal oversees more than 100 futsal leagues in 30 states across the USA and launched a highly successful Futsal Academy program last year. In addition, U.S. Youth Futsal International Teams have traveled to play friendlies in Portugal, Costa Rica and Colombia as well as Canada. Players rostered for the International teams are selected via the U.S Youth Futsal I.D. Trials and are comprised of the very best futsal player in the entire country.
Marin is the former Director of Operations at Glory Sports International and helped develop the property in the Americas. While working as part of the team that toured the global league in the most iconic venues in the continent, including Madison Square Garden and LA Live, Marin worked to establish Glory Sports International as the leading stand-up combat brand globally and secure broadcasting deals with ESPN, Globo and other media outlets
Marin also served as Head of Sports Projects for the International Cycling Union (UCI) during the Tour de France and all Cycling World Championships, and created innovative and transparent event sales process and renegotiated key event partner deals, contributing to increasing the sustainability of all cycling disciplines and competitions.
“U.S. Youth Futsal runs the best Futsal programs in the United States and around the continent, but this is not enough,” said Marin. “The talented team that forms USYF will work for everyone in the Futsal family to have the best possible experience at every step of our journey.”
