NISA, America’s Newest Pro Soccer League Sets Dates For Fall 2020
The Impact of the Coronavirus COVID-19 on Soccer: As American soccer starts to resume play, schedules are set and fans feel excited and even a bit relieved as life starts to return to a new normal that is more acceptable.
The National Independent Soccer Association NISA will restart its play with the Fall 2020 Season.

The Fall 2020 competition format will consist of two parts:
- Regionalized Competition, commencing in August, divided into two conferences; an Eastern Conference and a Western Conference,
- Single Location Tournament to be held in late October at the conclusion of Regionalized Competition resulting in a single Fall champion.
“The health and safety of our players, coaches, staffs, and fans are of the utmost importance,” said NISA Commissioner John Prutch. “As a result, our Return To Play protocol takes into consideration numerous processes and alternative plans. As we move forward, we will continue to adhere to CDC recommendations and state and local mandates.”
