US Youth Soccer National League Selects GotSoccer For The New National League Conference
The technology that sports runs on should make life better for players, parents, coaches, and clubs. This has always been the goal of GotSoccer’s founder Gavin Owen-Thomas — since 1996.
GotSoccer and US Youth Soccer (USYS) have partnered to work together on the National League Conferences for all league management software solutions, giving it access to the brand new GotSoccer platform.

“The National League is happy to partner with GotSoccer and gain access to their wealth of knowledge and resources in administering soccer in the United States,” said US Youth Soccer’s CEO Skip Gilbert.
“With their focus on software for competition management, GotSoccer has some of the most advanced tools available for scheduling and registration to manage our events — improving processes for both our league managers, participating teams, and partners,” said Gilbert.
With the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on soccer — the mandated suspension and moratorium on youth soccer all across America, there is also an urgency to protect players, families, coaches, and club staff. GotSoccer kicked off a solution for social distancing on the field that works seamlessly with its tournament software and adds significant value as it also includes contact tracing.
“GotSoccer is on the cutting edge.”
Dr. Pete Zopfi, the Chair of US Youth Soccer
“GotSoccer’s social distancing solution solves a lot of the issues we face now as we Return To Play,” said Dr. Pete Zopfi, the Chair of US Youth Soccer. “That is why the platform is being so well received by us and others. It addresses most of the major issues.”
“We have an opportunity to return to somewhat normal, but if we divert too far from the safety protocols and social distancing, we run the risk of being pushed off the fields and back to sheltering in place,” said Dr. Zopfi.

“We’ve developed unique solutions to solve complex travel, security, broadcast, and scheduling problems,” said Owen-Thomas.
“Our GotPro division works with over 40 professional leagues worldwide, including the NBA, Major League Baseball, and MLS.”

“Now GotSoccer will be able to utilize some of these same tools to provide better solutions for the USYS National League Conferences.”
The partnership with GotSoccer will provide uniformity and efficiency among each of the National League Conferences as well the USYS National League Showcase Series, as each competition will operate on the same software platform — utilizing GotSoccer’s all-in-one software features, including registration, payments, scheduling, communication, and standings.
US YOUTH SOCCER NATIONAL LEAGUE SHOWCASE SERIES
The new competition structure debuts beginning with the 2020-21 youth soccer seasonal year. According to USYS’ website, “It will continue to feature regionally aligned Conferences that operate both team-based competitions and club-based league competitions and provide a qualification pathway to their respective US Youth Soccer Regional Championship (NCS).”
