Bringing Great technology to Soccer Coaches, United Soccer Coaches Partners With Veo
Reflecting the growing role technology plays in the game of soccer, United Soccer Coaches is pleased to announce a four-year agreement making Veo the Official Sports Camera of the Association.
This partnership will benefit United Soccer Coaches members through special offers and unique content from this portable and affordable video solution. The Veo camera and platform enables teams to record and analyze games and practices without the need for a camera operator.
“Veo are extremely excited to partner with such an outstanding organization as United Soccer Coaches. Having attended many of the fantastic online and in-person courses the association conducts, and seeing how invested the association is in coach, player, and club development, this was a perfect match for Veo,” said Lee Hudson, U.S. Market Manager for Veo.

“With this partnership, we hope to empower association members with a cost-effective solution to not only capture their games and practices but to analyze them as well,” said Hudson. “The 4 year partnership really outlines Veo’s commitment to United Soccer Coaches, and how invested we are in the membership both on and off the field.”
Founded on the idea that it should be easy to record and analyze soccer matches, Veo is designed to be the ultimate camera for team sports. Approximately 2,200 clubs in more than 60 countries are now using the VEO camera, and record more than 15,000 matches per month.
Veo cameras connect to your smartphone to record 180° with two 4K lenses. This compact and easy-to-use camera contains enough storage for several games and weighs just over 2 lbs. Less than eight hours after uploading, Veo’s software creates a fully viewable recording of your game where the camera tracks the balls automatically.
The partnership will allow United Soccer Coaches members to receive special offers and benefits from Veo over the next four years. In addition, in-person United Soccer Coaches education courses will utilize Veo camera solutions, and they will be a feature of the field sessions at the next three United Soccer Coaches Conventions. Convention attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about Veo as they present their constantly evolving solution at the Verizon Innovation Hub.
“Veo supports improved coach and player performance,” United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Education Ian Baker said. “It gives the coach more time to do their work effectively and provides the tools previously only available to top professional programs. Veo allows for video capture and analysis simply and affordably. Be it for a single team, club, high school or college program Veo is a must resource tool. Veo is a fantastic and sensibly priced technology. Two thumbs up.”
Veo will also provide valuable education content to United Soccer Coaches members, about how video analysis supports player development, through Convention sessions, on the United Soccer Coaches Podcast, in Soccer Journal articles, and by providing material for the Online Resource Library.
