FC Cincinnati Announce Total Quality Logistics (TQL) as Naming Rights Partner
Soccer in America keep growing, even as the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown soccer for months, the MLS has stayed strong and fans in the USA are ready to go cheer for their favorite teams. New stadiums are a sure sign of the sport’s growing popularity in our country.
FC Cincinnati is gearing up for its home opener scheduled in the coming weeks versus Inter Miami. Ahead of the matchup between recent expansion clubs, FC Cincinnati has announced the official stadium name of Ohio’s professional soccer team.
MLS SOCCER NEWS: FC Cincinnati has announced Total Quality Logistics (TQL) as the official naming rights partner of TQL Stadium. The FCC-TQL partnership brings together two Cincinnati-grown businesses that share a “no limits” philosophy as well as a commitment to the local community.
“We are thrilled to partner with TQL, a highly respected business that has grown from a start-up to industry leader, right here in the Queen City,” said FC Cincinnati President Jeff Berding. “There are a lot of synergies that make this alliance between TQL and FCC a perfect match and are reflected throughout the stadium. The long-term stadium naming rights deal is important to the club’s growth and ability to attract top players to Cincinnati. We are excited to call TQL Stadium our home.”
“TQL Stadium is an investment in Cincinnati,” said TQL President Kerry Byrne. “The city means a great deal to us. It is where we were founded and have been headquartered since 1997—we are thrilled to have one of the most incredible stadiums in the country here, which will now have our name on it. Cincinnati is our home, and we are proud for TQL Stadium to be the home of FC Cincinnati.”
Headquartered in Cincinnati, TQL employs over 5,000 people in 56 offices throughout the country, including in 16 markets with MLS teams. Through TQL Cares and the TQL Foundation, the company is committed to making a positive difference in the community. In 2020, TQL and its employees contributed over $2 million to more than 3,000 nonprofits, including Cincinnati-based Boys and Girls Club, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the USO of Central & Southern Ohio.
In this new partnership, FC Cincinnati and TQL will work closely together on making an even greater impact in the Cincinnati community through meaningful initiatives in 2021 and beyond.
The multi-year naming rights partnership includes exterior and interior signage, a seating zone, a branded bar area and extensive opportunities for employee engagement. TQL Stadium’s first-in-the-world lighting technology will feature the company’s logo moving across the stadium exterior.
FC Cincinnati played to a 2-2 draw versus Nashville SC over the weekend. The club will travel to take on New York City FC on Saturday, April 24. Kickoff is at 1:00 pm ET.
TQL Stadium will officially open its gates on Saturday, May 16, versus Inter Miami CF. Kickoff is at 4:00 pm ET.
