Capital District Youth Soccer League to Host Coaches Workshop in Albany This Saturday
Coaching Education is critically important to the success of player development in the United States and US Youth Soccer is dedicated to helping coaches around the country thrive. Eastern New Youth Youth Soccer Association is one of the top states – – leading the charge in coaching education. Here is one of the latest opportunities to learn.
Even though snow is still on the ground in Albany and throughout the Empire State, the Spring Season of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is scheduled to kick off this month. To make sure it runs smoothly, the Capital District Youth Soccer League (CDYSL) hosts its 5th Annual Coaches Workshop this Saturday, March 7 from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission to the Sand Creek Middle School (329 Sand Creek Road in Albany) is free.
The CDYSL Coaches Workshop is open to all coaches, referees and administrators, providing a one-day venue with clinics and workshops that enhance player, team and club development. Highlights include:

Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association: With over 100,000 youth soccer players–both boys and girls–and more than 25,000 volunteers, the non-profit Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) stretches from Montauk Point, Long Island to the Canadian border. Members are affiliated with 11 leagues throughout the association, which covers the entire state of New York east of Route 81. ENYYSA exists to promote and enhance the game of soccer for children and teenagers between the ages of 5 and 19 years old, and to encourage the healthy development of youth players, coaches, referees and administrators.
All levels of soccer are offered–from intramural, travel team and premier players as well as Special Children. No child who wants to play soccer is turned away. ENYYSA is a proud member of the United States Soccer Federation and United States Youth Soccer Association.
