Stoppage-Time Winner Lifted OKC to Victory in Colorado Springs
OKC Energy FC forward Danni König has been voted the USL Player of the Week for the third week of the 2015 season after he scored both goals, including a stoppage-time winner, in Energy FC’s 2-1 victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday afternoon.
König earned 50 percent of the vote, which was conducted by a national panel of independent media representing every USL market. Arizona United SC’s Dennis Chin finished second, with 43 percent.

D – Shawn McLaws, New York Red Bulls II: Defended strongly and notched first professional goal as he attacked well down the right side
D – Craig Nitti, Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2: Capped an excellent defensive display with an outstanding free kick goal as WFC2 earned victory in Austin
D – Conor Shanosky, Louisville City FC: Helped City earn a point on the road in Richmond with strong defensive positioning and by winning aerial duels.
D – Onua Obasi, Rochester Rhinos: Provided assist on game-winning goal and was solid defensively as Rhinos took first win of season
M – Enzo Martinez, Charlotte Independence: Notched game-tying goal as Charlotte earned a point on the road against Wilmington
M – Justin Portillo, Charleston Battery: Provided a strong foundation for Battery’s attack as he won possession and distributed well throughout
M – Steven Evans, Portland Timbers 2: Scored game-winning goal with three minutes remaining as T2 opened season with two wins from two
F – Dennis Chin, Arizona United SC: Scored game-tying goal and set up stoppage-time winner in 2-1 victory against LA Galaxy II
F – Jermie Lynch, Saint Louis FC: Scored first goal in STL FC history and added an assist to lead his side to 2-0 victory against Tulsa
F – Danni König, OKC Energy FC: Notched pair of goals, including a stoppage-time winner, to lift Energy FC to victory against Colorado Springs
