Invite-Only Event Celebrated The New X15 & Ace15 Cleats With The Help Of Fans & Soccer Stars
Soccer News: This past weekend, Adidas Soccer and their 500 guests took over Los Angeles with their Be the Difference LA event—celebrating the new direction of soccer and the new cleats X and Ace. Guests and fans were invited to join the conversation using the #BeTheDifference.
In May, Adidas unveiled their new cleats made specifically for two types of athletes—one that controls the game and one that creates chaos and can’t be controlled. The Ace15 is for the former—the athlete that helps set the pace and execute the plan. This cleat is designed for athletes like Mesut Özil, who control the game.
In comparison, the X15 cleats are for the athletes that create chaos, who strike without notice. These cleats are perfect for players like Thomas Müller, Luis Suárez, and Karim Benzema.
At the #BeTheDifference event, LA Galaxy stars helped celebrate the new cleats. Steven Gerrard, Mika Vayrynen, and Oscar Sorto all attended and interacted with lucky fans.
Talented, elite, young LA soccer players were able to showcase their skills in a 2 v. 2 tournament, where the winners were not only determined by the most goals scored, but also by creating the most hype in the event via their on-field style.
Guests were able to enjoy performances by emcee Kenny Burns and musical performances from YG, Blake Anderson (DJ UncleBlazer), Baauer and The Gaslamp Killer.
