Albion SC Players Receive $1.5 Million Worth Of College Scholarships/Financial Aid
Albion SC is one of America’s top premier youth soccer clubs and has a proven record of player development and helping their players find the college fit. While Albion SC is nationally recognized for their youth soccer player development and has recently partnered with EPL’s Arsenal FC to create a high level academy and groom homegrown players looking to become professionals, the club is also dedicated to developing today’s youth for success on the collegiate level. Albion SC has a high-level college placement program to assist players to reach their goal of a college career — and to access scholarship funds to offset the high cost.
So far this year, San Diego based Albion SC’s players have received $1.5 million in college scholarships and financial aid. The total of these funds reflects the value of the 4-year scholarships offered to the players and are based on academics and financial aid as well as athletic ability.
Albion SC players have made the cut to some of the best colleges and universities in America. From the Ivy Leagues in the Northeast to top universities in the Northwest, and from the Southeast to right around the block in San Diego, Albion SC players top favorites? Yale, Harvard, UCLA, Seattle University, UC Irvine, Santa Clara, Cal Poly, Boston University and Arizona State University are among the top choices.
“Albion SC is committed to helping every player with the desire, ability, and motivation to play college soccer,” states the program’s page on the Albion SC website. “We believe that there is a good college program for every player who is passionate about the game. Provided that you are a hard working, dedicated soccer player who is committed to training and playing at a high level, our goal is to help you get to college.”
Technical Director Noah Gins is committed to developing players to advance and take advantage of collegiate opportunities. Gins recognizes the power and importance of a college education as well as the opportunities for playing professionally which the college experience can offer.
“We believe in investing time to educate not only players, but the parents, to come up with tailored plans to get optimal exposure for these kids,” Gins explained. “We walk them through the college recruiting process and prepare them extensively to give them options well beyond what they thought was possible. In special instances, I have called top college coaches and made sure they have seen our players.”
