Albion SC Development Showcase
The ALBION SC DEVELOPMENT SHOWCASE will be held on the weekend of January 10th and 11th, 2015. Players will be able to enjoy competing on the newly opened So Cal Sports Complex with its 22 manicured fields. This youth soccer Development Showcase is a very competitive and highly ranked tournament that will allow teams to compete and prepare for State Cup and beyond.
Albion SC Development Showcase Registration is open now and the deadline for teams to register is December 1, 2014. The tournament is limited to 200 teams and the club expects to have over 300 applicants.
“We are very excited about the new features inside the tournament and it will be the elite event in January for post-season play,” said Noah Gins, Technical Director of San Diego’s Albion SC.
The Albion SC Development Showcase includes:
- One Location, all games will be held at one location in Oceanside at the SoCal Soccer Complex. These will be the best fields around with all teams playing at one location with all coaches conflict free.
- U7-U13 with 3 division per age, We will offer balanced competition for all levels of teams. Super Group (Invite Only), Showcase and Cup flight.
- Super Group, We are looking to invite the best teams for each Super Group with all teams that play in this flight guaranteed 4 games. This is limited to 8 teams.
- Gatorade, Canopies, Benches and More will be supplied to all teams on each field. The attention to details will showcase the player and team giving them the most professional environment possible.
“After last years elite event, we are excited to make this event one for the calendar for all the teams from Region IV to come into San Diego and compete,” said Wayne Crowe, Development Academy Director. “We currently have teams from Arizona, Nevada and Dallas registered as well as some of the top ranked teams on GotSoccer to play in the Super Groups.”
“We look forward to hosting high level teams from around the area at this event and we recommend that you register early as the tournament is limited to 200 teams and filling up fast,” said Gins.
Albion SC holds the January event as well as the Soccerloco Albion Cup National Showcase, one of the top tournaments in the country with over 600 teams in the event.
“My goal with this tournament is to give all the teams the experience of the highest level with the attention to detail and the the best possible experience,” said Crowe. “With the competition being balanced, Gatorade supplied to all teams, Canopies, Benches and all games being at one location with pristine fields this will be one of the best experiences of the year for your team.”
“Last year’s event was a great success and we look forward to offering the teams even more this year.,” said Gins. “This will be the perfect preparation post season tournament and great preparation for State Cup.”
