Albion SC’s Affiliate Program Welcomes Maui United
Albion SC expands the Albion SC Program with the addition of Albion SC- Hawaii, formerly known as the Maui United Soccer Club. The Hawaiian youth soccer teams will compete under the Albion SC-Hawaii for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
Youth Soccer News: Building a great youth soccer club takes vision. It also requires great leadership. The powerful combination of both vision and leadership, combined with experience and expertise are the reasons that the Albion SC Affiliate program has been successful as it strategically ads like-minded clubs to its organization.
While there are youth soccer affiliate programs that expand their reach geographically, Albion SC selectively welcomes strong clubs with talented player pools that share the same dedication to the beautiful game.
“There are years of equity built into Albion SC,” said Noah Gins, CEO of Albion SC. “It is a great reward for us to share our programs. Both we and our partner club gains from this exchange.”
“When we expand and welcome a new club to Albion, it is a testament of that hard work paying off and we have been doing the right things year after year,” said Gins.
Albion SC – Hawaii will expand the Albion SC youth model and soccer club’s network throughout Hawaii, wearing the new logo for the 2019/20 season.
This new expansion follows the critical addition of Albion SC- Las Vegas in 2017. “At Albion, we are highly selective with the expansion of our program, always keeping in mind our long-term interests and our means of achieving our goals to further high-level player development.
A full member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy for both Boys and Girls, Albion SC has always focused on maximizing youth player development and creating a positively layer centric environment. Albion SC Las Vegas is also a member now of the Development Academy, being accepted since joining the Albion SC Affiliate program less than two years ago.
Albion SC provides its affiliates with a powerful platform to run their club and gain immediate national recognition. For the former Maui United SC, the move also enables the soccer youth club to now take advantage of being connected with one of the most Elite Puma clubs in the nation.
In addition, it connects the Maui based club to England’s premier Arsenal FC recruitment and scouting system as well as several other professional clubs. Arsenal FC’ scouts and coaches work directly with Albion SC coaches to help identify and develop talented elite players who can be invited for trials in London.
Albion SC Hawaii automatically becomes an Official Pro Partner of ASC San Diego, which plays in the Founders Cup of the National Premier Soccer League.
With the growth of youth soccer in the U.S., we felt this was the right time to take this step with Albion SC in order to enhance our overall structure, development pathway, and give our players a chance to play regularly on the mainland,” said Brent Nunes, formerly the Director of Coaching at Maui United who now assumes the role of Albion- Hawaii, Technical Director.
Albion SC has a great reputation and a nationally recognized program that we will mirror,” said Nunes.
“Maui United is perfectly aligned with our vision of expansion,” said Gins. “This club has a very unique talent pool, a staff of great coaches and is very well organized. They have incredible facilities, a great tournament, and strong leadership.”
“Now we have the opportunity to share a common vision,” said Nunes.
“It will be incredible to help Brent Nunes and his staff take Albion SC Hawaii to the next level and become one of the most dominant clubs in the Islands, recognized for developing top players and high-level teams,” Gins. “Brent is recognized as one of the top coaches in our country. He is a great leader and with the support of his entire coaching staff and the board of directors, this club will make a serious impact here in Hawaii and throughout America.”
“We are extremely excited to represent Albion SC and continue the tradition of excellence,” said Nunes.
For years, our coaching staff has had an excellent relationship with Noah, as we both have always placed player development priority above everything else.” Brent Nunes, Director of Coaching Maui United SC.
“This partnership will not only create more opportunities and pathway for our players, but it will also allow the club and coaching staff to allocate more attention to developing players for college soccer and possible professional soccer careers,” said Nunes.

“We are proud to help them continue this mission to develop players and provide opportunities to play at the next level,” said Gins.
