Albion SC Won U.S. Region IV Championship
Albion SC is well known across the nation for its dedication to providing the highest level of player development for their club’s elite players and has an ambitious desire to develop championship teams.
Albion SC‘s BU16 White and GU15 White, both advance to the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Championships, July 21-26, at Mohawk Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on more than 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer’s 55 State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play. Team from Cal South consistently perform well when competing on the National stage and Albion SC looks forward to bringing home another championship.
Albion SC BU16 White coached by Noah Gins and Andre Schmid will return to the National Championships for the second year in a row. The BU16 White won the U.S. Youth Soccer National League, giving them a direct spot in the National Championships.
Albion SC GU15 White coached by Ernie Romero will be the second girls team to play for the National Championships.
The GU15 White went through State and Regionals to earn their spot. The girls faced off against Palo Alto 00 Blue (CA-N) to determine who would advance to the National Championships as the Region IV Representative, as both La Roca Premier PO (UT) and Carlsbad Elite 99 (CA-S) already qualified to nationals through the National League. Jessica Wright broke the scoreless stalemate in the 46th minute, and Nicole Sayd added a late insurance goal in the 70th minute which secured their trip to the Nationals Championships.
“The club could not be happier with two teams attending this final stage where only the best teams in the country show up and where the stage is set. The whole production of the National Championships is what really makes this event so special,” said Gins. “The tournament draws major college coaches and national team scouts, just two of the many reasons this tournament is so great for the players to be part of.”
“The culture set at Albion SC is to set our teams ups at a young age to strive to play for National Championships,” continued Gins.
“The staff, the players, the teams all understand that we strive to compete with the best in country, not so much So Cal or even the Region. We aim to be the best youth soccer club in the USA and we expect our teams each year to play for State, Regional, and National Titles.”
“This is an important part of being the best,” said Gins. “This is the highest honor you can achieve as a youth soccer team, and this is where we set the bar.”
Gins is dedicated to bringing the best advantages to his players at Albion SC. Albion SC has partnered with Advantage Training to provide player athletic assessments for his youth soccer club. Albion SC also has a well established relationship with EPL’s giant, Arsenal FC and has a dedicated youth training program following the prestigious, English-based academy.
