Allstate Making A Difference in Youth Soccer

A few big corporations are committed to the community and work to make a difference and then there is Allstate, a company with a track record of focused support that sets the standard and constantly raises the bar on their contribution to impact youth soccer.

“We are at a tipping point in sports, right now, in this country,” said Brandi Chastain.

Updated: Allstate Insurance Company does a lot to help the American soccer community. From refurbishing soccer fields in economically stress areas to providing scholarships for college-bound high school players, and selecting top former professional players to be ambassadors of the beautiful game and hold youth soccer clinics, Allstate is a champion of American soccer.

Recently, Allstate selected its first group of high school soccer players to be named as Allstate All-Americans. From the nearly 800,000 players across the country, 150 high school juniors were selected for their outstanding achievements in the game. Now through 2019, Allstate will be celebrating these talented young athletes as future game changers of the sport.

Allstate teamed up with four U.S. soccer legends to coach this select group of these All-Americans at the Allstate All-America Cup at 2019 MLS All-Star Orlando.

Former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National team members, Taylor Twellman and Brian McBride, will be joined by former U.S. Women’s National soccer team standouts and Olympic gold medalists, Julie Foudy and Brandi Chastain, and coach these promising high school players in a highly spirited and fun loving match.

“Teaming up with Allstate and having the opportunity to work with some of the best high school soccer players in the country who represent the future of the sport is important for me,” said Julie Foudy who is always up for a friendly competition with her former teammate, Brandi.

“This year, Allstate took its commitment to U.S. Soccer a step further by introducing the first-ever Allstate All-America soccer program,” said Pam Hollander, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Allstate.

“This program not only recognizes the most talented high school soccer players in the country, and teams them up with four legendary soccer professionals, but it also creates a forum to honor the future game changers of the sport. Allstate’s purpose is to help our customers prepare for the future, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate these players and encourage their bright futures both on and off the field.”
