Culture FC Returns to The Beach Soccer USA Cup in Oceanside
The Beach Soccer USA Cup welcomes back Culture FC from Huntington Beach for the 10 year anniversary of the tournament. Culture FC consists of former National Team players from the U.S., Portugal and Brazil, along with international standouts from Peru becoming the 4th U.S. team that will be participating in the International Event.
Beach Soccer News: Huntington Beach, California based PRO Beach Soccer Club Culture FC returns to the The Beach Soccer USA Cup in Oceanside, California following a 2015 season in which saw them heroically reach the finals by shocking many top contenders on their way to 2nd place.
Culture FC becomes the 13th announcement of The Beach Soccer USA Cup and our 4th USA Based Team joining Portland BSC, Great Lakes BS and recently announced RWB Beach as the other USA Based Teams participating at the International Event in Oceanside, California this coming May 13-14-15, 2016.
Culture FC is lead by Team Captain Adriano De Lima and Coach Leo Caldas whom together achieved greatness by bringing chemistry to a team that would go on to shock the event. Culture FC assembled a team of former National Team players from USA, Portugal and Brazil, along with international standouts from Peru. The team’s strength was tested but never broken through the event, their hard work speared by players from Vasco Da Gama, Brazil would pay dividends as the team would go on to defeat in the Quarter-finals none other than FC Barcelona 5-4 in what many considered to be among the top 3 games of the event, the team would shock one more time as they defeated 2014 Japanese Champions Tokyo Lequios 5-4 in the Semi-finals. In the Championship game Culture FC would fall short by the score of 3-2 against BSC Chargers Baselland with only minutes left in regulation time.
Culture FC returns to Oceanside, but they are not to be understimated. The team has proven to be able to play against any of the top teams at the event and to contend for the title of The Beach Soccer USA Cup. We extend a warm welcome to our international friends representing Huntington Beach, California and we wish them the best of luck at this year’s event which is celebrating it’s 10th Year Anniversary in Oceanside, California.
