Arturo Gutierrez, Founder/Head Coach of Buena Park FC said, “Buena Park FC is one of the hardest working local soccer clubs and we want to expand our opportunity for our players who want to continue to play at higher levels. We are very established in our hometown community but we want to make the transfer to a higher quality and more competitive league and we thought the United Premier Soccer League was a perfect fit for us. We have found that a high level of local teams play in the UPSL and it will be great to be the first team to play in the UPSL from Buena Park. We are excited to be a member of the UPSL and look forward to many exciting matches and cup tournaments with some of the other great local UPSL teams.”
United Premier Soccer League Yan Skwara Commissioner said, “We are excited to announce that Buena Park FC have joined the UPSL as a new member of the Southeast Conference. Anaheim is a market we wanted to expand into and BPFC is the right club to open this market for us as a league. We welcome Buena Park FC and their ownership group, players and fans to the UPSL family of teams and look forward to a long-term relationship.”
