New Four Year Agreement and Partnership
Cal North – “Kids First” is one of the largest state organizations within the US Youth Soccer Association. Cal North registers more than 163,000 players annually, ages 4 to 19, and over 42,000 administrators, coaches and volunteers in 132 member leagues of registration.
Cal North has entered into a partnership agreement with sports manufacturer Nike, the world’s leading soccer brand. Nike will serve as the official apparel and equipment sponsor for Cal North and will support Cal North’s Olympic Development Program, Coach Education Program, and Association Camps and Tournaments.
Cal North Chairman Pete Zopfi is pleased with the partnership. “Cal North and Nike share a vision to grow youth soccer. This relationship will allow both organizations to achieve this vision.”
Cal North Executive Director Matthew Madeira adds, “This agreement allows us to brand with the preeminent soccer company in the world. In addition, it strengthens our ties to U.S. Youth Soccer and U.S. Soccer Federation through mutual sponsor affiliation.”
