Position Training at Catalyst Soccer Camp to Maximize Player Development
With the Fall season just around the corner, the latest Catalyst Technical Soccer Camp prepares individuals for the upcoming year with technical education and player positioning. The camp kicks off in August and more than 120 players attended the highly rated soccer program last year.
Youth Soccer News: Hard to believe but the Fall season will be here before you know it. So whether a player is learning a new position or wants to improve their performance in an existing position, they can benefit from attending a preseason soccer camp in August.
The question is not whether to train but where to train. One great opportunity is at Catalyst Soccer Camp.
Catalyst Soccer’s co-founder Alicia Piz is the Director of Operations and is deeply committed to helping youth soccer players achieve their goals. A former player whose playing career was impacted by several knee injuries, Piz is a real life expert on the importance and impact of proper technique. After 5 knee surgeries between the age of 17-20 then a 6th knee surgery at 22, after her final college season, Piz has recovered from 2 ACL tears, 3 meniscus tears, 1 cartilage fracture … and the experience of overcoming these challenges brought to light all the ways that soccer was her ‘catalyst’ in life. Piz kicked off Catalyst Soccer Training as a 23 year old with the determination to help as many players as possible avoid the pain she experienced.
The position-specific focus of Piz’ program enables players to get the most advancement in a short amount of time by sharpening technical ball skills and athletic body mechanics as a striker, midfielder, defender, or goalkeeper.
More than 120 players attended last year’s Catalyst Technical Soccer Camp and rated the technical education and position practice the most valuable parts of the experience.
An Effective and Successful Camp Experience
“My child loved all aspects of the camp. We felt it was money well spent. He received excellent training in a constructive manner that corrected mistakes while continually building up his self confidence as a player. Keep doing what you are doing cause it’s sure working for us!” – Parent of an 8-year-old midfielder in the 2015 Catalyst Technical Soccer Camp.
