Xoloitzcuintles hosts Monarcas Morelia in LIGA MX Week 2 Match
Soccer News: Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles women’s team is ready to make its historic debut at Estadio Caliente Saturday, Aug. 5. Coach Andrea Rodebaugh’s team hosts Monarcas Morelia in a LIGA MX Week 2 match (12 p.m.).
The Xoloitzcuintles continue with the everyday work heading into that match. It went through intersquad scrimmage after working on ball control and other drills. The game scheme against Monarcas continues to be worked on as the match nears.
Rodebaugh said the women are ready for this milestone and that the anticipation to play in the game grows.
“We are very happy because a dream comes true for all of us,” Rodebaugh said. “We are prepared and we hope to play a good tournament.”
Tickets to the match are on sale at ~$6 US / 100 pesos all general admission at the Estadio Caliente box office from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
