Ronaldo Reaches 100-Goal Milestone Day

The 35-year-old super soccer star scored his #100 and #101 goals as his country Portugal beat Sweden 2-0 in the Nations League yesterday.
The ‘century’ goal was a beauty — a free-kick straight into the top corner in perfect Ronaldo style.
Ronaldo is actually the second male player overall in the history of recorded soccer to reach the century mark in international soccer just nine goals short of Iran’s striker Ali Daei, who scored 109 goals for his national team between 1993 and 2006.
The Juventus stud who formerly was the star of Real Madrid has earned five Ballons d’Or in his lifetime.
According to UEFA’s review of Ronaldo’s 165 international matches, his first goal for Portugal was a header scored in 2004 off of an assist from Luís Figo.
Back last November, Ronaldo missed his chance to reach this milestone when Portugal took on Luxembourg in the Euro 2020 qualifier.
