2014 Dallas International Girls Cup Launches Easter Week
A highly competitive International tournament for girls in the USA
Youth Soccer Tournament News: Premier International Tours and the Dallas Texans, one of the top youth soccer clubs in the U.S., have teamed up to once again to organize and host the 2014 Dallas International Girls Cup taking place on Easter Week, April 16-20, 2014.
The 4th edition of the tournament will be the biggest edition yet with 88 teams including some of the best girls teams from across the United States including the Dallas Texans, Dallas Sting, World Class FC from New York, Eagles SC from California, Rio Rapids Soccer club from New Mexico, and Jacksonville FC from Florida, among others.
Some top Canadian teams will also be participating including Barrie FC, Ottawa South United, Whitby Iroquios and Thunder Bay Chill Reserve.
Of course the tournament will also feature outstanding international participants: representing Australia will be Subiaco AFC, representing Denmark will be Himmelev Veddelev BK and Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold, representing Haiti will be Citadelle Football Club and representing England will be the Blackburn Rovers, Millwall FC and Preston North End.
What makes the Dallas International Girls Cup unique is that it is more than just a soccer tournament; it is in fact a cultural experience creating memories that all those involved will never forget. The youth soccer event opens up Monday evening when the International teams arrive with the International opening ceremony the following night at SMU McFarlin Auditorium. On Saturday there will be a college exhibition game between Oklahoma State University and Texas Tech University and teams will watch MLS pro team FC Dallas take on Toronto FC at Toyota Stadium
With over 80 college coaches in attendance last year, the 2014 Dallas International Girls Cup promises to draw an even bigger crowd of college coaches looking to recruit the elite talent present at this year’s tournament.
