SoccerToday Columnist Joins FOX Sports as Medical Analyst for FIFA Women’s World Cup
JAG Physical Therapy announced that President and MLS Medical Coordinator, Dr. John Gallucci, ATC, DPT, has joined FOX Sports as a medical analyst for coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 on FOX broadcast network, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2.
Throughout the FIFA Women’s World Cup Gallucci is available by satellite from New York to discuss key injuries during the tournament as they happen, including any possible issues surrounding U.S. Women’s National Team star Alex Morgan, who was sidelined since early May with a bone bruise.
Gallucci is scheduled to appear as needed during pregame, halftime and postgame shows as well as other World Cup programming and FOX Sports 1 signature studio shows AMERICA’S PREGAME and FOX SPORTS LIVE.
Currently, Gallucci is the Medical Coordinator for Major League Soccer and formerly served as Head Athletic Trainer with MLS’s New York Red Bulls. John is the President of JAG Physical Therapy, a multi-facility outpatient physical therapy company throughout New York and New Jersey and recently authored his first book titled Soccer Injury Prevention and Treatment. He has also worked as a consultant for professional athletes across various leagues and with athletic departments at several different universities and colleges.
