Eastern New York Soccer Festival Coming to Newburgh on May 12
New York Youth Soccer News: Working with New York Red Bulls Street Team, this event is the first of its kind in the state
The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is very pleased to announce that we are hosting the Inaugural Eastern New York Soccer Festival on Saturday, May 12 from 9 am to 4 pm at Delano-Hitch Recreation Park in Newburgh.
“Eastern New York is really happy to come to Newburgh for our first-ever soccer festival and we hope to see many local kids there, especially since there is no admission fee and everything is free of charge,” commented ENYYSA President Richard Christiano.
This Soccer Open House will show kids, both boys and girls from the local area, all the good things that youth soccer offers to them, including the health benefits, making new friends and learning ideas such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
The children and teenagers can play pick-up games on the four inflatable fields, test their skills on the exhibits while Eastern New York coaches give advanced-level clinics. Volunteers from both Eastern New York and the East Hudson Youth Soccer League (EHYSL) will make sure the entire day goes smoothly.
And you will not want to miss the New York Red Bulls Street Team (pictured above) that will be appearing from 10 am to 2 pm. They will perform eye-popping freestyle tricks, sign jerseys and have their photos taken with local kids.
Additionally, there will be giveaway items donated by ENYYSA sponsors. The festival rain date is Saturday, May 19.
