FC Barcelona face off against Real Madrid tomorrow as one of the most notable rivalries in soccer kicks off at the Camp Nou. The Catalan club will look to extends its lead at the top of the table between third place Real Madrid as Zidane looks to come out of his first clásico match as manager with a positive result.
Soccer News: beIN SPORTS will present exclusive coverage of the world’s fiercest sporting rivalry, FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid. The two will go head-to-head on April 2nd in the match known as “El Clásico,” and will be broadcast in the U.S. and Canada.
In what will be the second “El Clásico” matchup of the season, Real Madrid hopes to avenge their 4-0 loss against Barcelona in the league. This also marks Zinedine Zidane’s debut as Real Madrid’s manager in “El Clásico,” facing the defending champions on their home turf at the Camp Nou stadium. The archrivals feature soccer superstars Lionel Messi, Neymar, Gareth Bale and James Rodríguez and in a battle for LaLiga’s top scorer – or Pichichi – three-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, leads by two goals over Luis Suárez.
Veteran and award-winning commentators, Ray Hudson and Phil Schoen, will call the match LIVE, providing the always electrifying play-by-play and colorful commentary for beIN SPORTS, while José Hernández and Eduardo Biscayart will do the honors for beIN SPORTS en Español.
In other action from LaLiga, rivals Celta de Vigo and Deportivo will face off in the “Derby Gallego” at Balaídos stadium, while the Spanish runners-up, Atlético de Madrid, host Real Betis this weekend at the Vicente Calderón stadium in Madrid.
In Serie A action, front-runners, Juventus, host Empoli while Lazio faces Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in the “Derby della Capitale,” a Roman rivalry dating back to 1929. Meanwhile in Ligue 1, Nice faces league leaders, Paris Saint-Germain, who are already crowned champions since week 30.
