Borussia Dortmund Sign Emre Mor from FC Nordsjaelland
Emre Mor signs for Borussia Dortmund from Danish Superligaen side FC Nordsjaelland ahead of BVB’s return to Champions League during the 2016/2017 season. Dortmund have made early moves to reconstruct its roster following the signing of Marc Bartra from FC Barcelona and Rennes forward Ousmane Dembele.
Soccer News: Eight-time German champions Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of a further player ahead of the new season. Emre Mor is moving from Danish Superligaen side FC Nordsjaelland to Champions League participants Dortmund.
“Emre Mor is a highly-talented and versatile young attacking player with huge potential,” said Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc.
Mor was born and raised in Denmark but also possesses Turkish citizenship. He is part of Turkey’s UEFA Euro 2016 squad alongside Dortmund’s Nuri Sahin.
BVB is a fantastic club in Europe with unique fans. I am really looking forward to my new teammates and cannot wait for the start of the season and my first game for Borussia,“ said the 18-year old.
Mor made 13 appearances in the Danish Superligaen in the 2015/16 season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He has signed a five-year contract until 30 June 2021 at Borussia Dortmund.
