Supporters Cheer on Xolos Ahead of Week 16 Matchup
Club Tijuana look ahead to the remainder of the Apertura campaign with supporters present in the background of the club that has reemerged as a top contender in 2016. Fans cheered the Xolos on at their Tuesday night practice as they prepare to host Tigres on Friday night.
Soccer News: Banners, flags, drums, fireworks and a passionate spirit were present at Estadio Caliente on Tuesday night as fan support for Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles prepared the club for its Week 16 match of the LIGA MX 2016 Apertura season. The Xolos host Tigres UANL on Friday with kickoff set for 8 p.m. PT.
About 1,000 supporters gathered at the stadium to watch Tuesday night’s practice under the lights. The team’s supporter’s group “La Masakr3” was also present with its usual songs, colors and rhythms from the south end of the stadium providing the atmosphere for the night.
Fans with a XoloPass for the season were invited to this festive night. They were able to see Club Tijuana continue its preparations for the remainder of the season as players went through drills while fans cheered on.
The Xolos are coming off a 1-0 road victory versus Toluca on Sunday. Club Tijuana will continue the week’s preparations with a Wednesday practice.
