Liverpool Call on Fans During Redevelopment of Anfield
With the expansion of the Main Stand at Anfield, Liverpool FC calls on its supporters to help select an iconic picture for the expansion of the stadium. The winning photo will appear in the official Liverpool FC magazine, match day programme and across the club’s social media platforms.
Soccer News: Liverpool FC is calling on fans help them choose an iconic picture of Anfield to mark the historic Main Stand expansion works, which will see another impressive landmark added to the world renowned Liverpool skyline.
Earlier this year, Liverpool FC launched a special competition in which fans were asked to send in their photographs of the Main Stand redevelopment for the opportunity to win a unique prize and have their work critiqued by Jürgen Klopp and club photographer John Powell.The supporters’ pictures of the Stand were shortlisted down to 10 before the duo narrowed the submissions to just two, including a striking black and white image submitted by Eamon Hudson and a colour image fusing old and new Anfield submitted by David Laverty.
Voting is now on for the public to decide the winning shot. Reds all over the world can go online to vote on which snap they feel should win by visiting here. Voting will close at 12pm on Friday 24th June.
The winning shot will appear in the official LFC magazine, match day programme and across LFC’s social platforms. As well as that, the image will be hung up at Melwood and in the museum at Anfield and the winner will receive a framed copy signed by Klopp and Captain Jordan Henderson.
