FC Barcelona Expands Youth Soccer Program in United States
FC Barcelona’s prestigious youth program, FCB Escola, will continue its expansion in the United States as additional camps will be developed in the next year. The Spanish club seeks to provide American youth with an opportunity to be instructed under its top tier training curriculum led by official FCB coaching staff.
Youth Soccer News: Spanish giant FC Barcelona has announced the expansion of its youth development program, FCB Escola, in the United States.
In addition to the recent opening of a new office in New York, the club is launching a program of Summer Soccer Camps for boys and girls led by official coaches from FCB. Admission information is available here.
Barça aims to provide American boys and girls, aged 6-16, an opportunity to learn the same Barça style of play that has made the club the most dominant team in the world. Official coaches from FC Barcelona will come exclusively to the United States to conduct all specialized training sessions. In addition to the unmatched training provided at the camps, a group of selected players will be invited to train in Barcelona at the FCB headquarters.
FC Barcelona has a presence in more than 23 U.S. cities, with further growth planned in several more states.
Future partner cities include: Portland OR, San Francisco CA, Los Angeles CA, San Diego CA, San Antonio TX, Austin TX, Denver CO, Chicago IL, Birmingham AL, Salt Lake City UT, Meridian ID, Kansas City, MO, Providence RI, Detroit MI.
Attending players in FC Barcelona camps will be instructed in the same values and practices that have produced international superstar professionals, such as FIFA World Player of the Year Lionel Messi and club captain and Spanish international star Andres Iniesta.
