Texas Born Defender On Loan To Bundesliga Giant
This is the second youth soccer player from FC Dallas signing on loan with FC Bayern since their Elite Player Development partnership was formed three years ago.
German champions FC Bayern have today announced the loan signing of FC Dallas defender Justin Che until June 2021.
The 17-year-old Texas native will initially join the club’s U19 side.
The signing comes after his training experience with FC Bayern as part of the club’s Elite Player Development partnership with founding Major League Soccer member, FC Dallas.
“We are very excited to see how Justin will develop over the next few months.”
Jochen Sauer, FC Bayern Academy Director
The comprehensive partnership offers players within their professional academies a pathway to soccer both in the United States and Germany.

“With Chris Richards, we have had excellent experiences with talent from our partner club. Justin is a young central defender with a lot of potential, as he recently showed in training. We are initially planning to have him in our U19 squad, but Justin will also have the opportunity to prove himself in training with the amateurs,” said FC Bayern Academy Director Jochen Sauer after the last-minute deal.
