Official FCBarcelona Academy In The US
FCBEscola Florida, which was inaugurated last August, is home to talented boys and girls category ages U6 to U14 from around the country.
After a successful first year, the FCBEscola Florida announces it’s 2nd annual academy tryouts for Sunday, May 10 to take place at their home facility, Central Broward Regional Park Stadium. These young athletes train under the most successful soccer training methodology of the last 10 years. Recently returning from the successful FCBEscola International Tournament held in Barcelona, Spain current players are motivated more than ever to continue the FC Barcelona philosophy.
The popularity of soccer as a sport has been growing exponentially in the U.S. in the last few years, and FCBEscola Florida is looking to establish the values and philosophy of Barca in the United States. Due to the success the program will be directed and supervised by not only one but two Technical Directors from the FCBEscola in Barcelona that reside permanently in Florida specifically for the project.
In conjunction with elite training, FCBEscola Florida players call one of the best soccer facilities in South Florida home. Central Broward Regional Park Stadium is the official training ground of the FCBEscola Florida, located at 3700 North West in Lauderhill, Florida. The state of the art sports complex has two 11v11 natural grass soccer fields at the facilities providing an impeccable training location.
Looking to always improve, the academy will introduce a new program to their already standing Competitive and Technification developments. A Recreational program that will be aimed for players who have an average coordinative level and wish to improve skills is to begin during the upcoming season. The competitive program will also see new features, as the addition to more training days and participation in more external tournaments and friendlies will be added. Goalies will not be left behind with a new program intricately created to develop and establish a strong base for the highly regarded position.
Opening the first ever FCBEscola in the United States was driven by Kaptiva Sports, which is considered one of the premier partners with the most experience organizing and handling Barca’s soccer club programs. Organizers expect a high volume of attendees at the May 10 tryout as last years brought in close to 1,000 hopeful players.
