2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup Recap and Preview
The seventh day of the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup prepares to kick off following an intense set of matches taking place on Thursday in Bucaramanga and Medellín. Panama take on Colombia, while Portugal face Uzbekistan with both matches set for 9:00 p.m. ET.

Day 6 Recap
Kazakhstan kicked off Day 6 with a 3-1 victory over Costa Rica in the first Group E matchup of the day. Kazakhstan were led by three individual goal scorers as they notch their first win of the tournament, while Costa Rica also tally one win and a loss.

Spain edged Azerbaijan in a 4-2 victory in a Group F matchup in Medellín. Fernandao and Miguelin recored two goals for Spain, while Vassoura added two own goals to their tally.

Argentina cruised past Solomon Islands in a 7-3 win at Coliseo Bicentario in Bucaramanga. Cristian Borruto led Argentina with a hat-trick to record their second win of the tournament.

The final match of the day saw Iran defeat Morocco in a 5-3 win in the second Group F match of the day. Iran record their first win of the tournament, while Morocco drop their second match as they prepare to take on Spain next.

Day 7 Preview
Egypt face Thailand in the first Group B match of the day with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET in Medellín. Both sides recorded a win and a loss in their first two matches of the tournament.
The second Group B match will see Russia take on Cuba at 7:00 p.m. ET at Coliseo Bicentenario in Bucaramangaca. Cuba are eliminated from the playoff round, while Russia sit atop the group with two wins.
Panama take on Colombia in the first Group A match with kickoff set for 9:00 p.m. ET in Cali. Colombia recorded two draws to open the tournament, while Panama sits one point ahead of the hosts in the second spot of the group.
The final match of the day will feature Portugal and Uzbekistan of Group A with kickoff at 9:00 p.m. ET. Portugal recorded a win and draw in their first two matches, while Uzbekistan remain with a single point.
