Northern Ireland National Team’s Austin MacPhee Comes to San Diego
Noah Gins, Technical Director for Albion SC, welcomes Austin McPhee, Northern Ireland National Team Assistant Coach to Southern California.
Scottish born Austin MacPhee is the assistant coach with the Northern Ireland National Football Team and is coming to San Diego, California to work with Southern California’s Albion Soccer Club to identify three youth soccer players for an all-expense paid trip this summer to Europe.
MacPhee will select three youth soccer players from the Albion SC boys program who will be invited to travel for free and become immersed in one of Europe’s top training platforms. This exclusive, professional youth soccer training program will be held in Scotland and is designed for the top players in the world who are striving to play professional soccer.
McPhee will evaluate players for this unique opportunity at Albion SC’s soccer training at Robb Field next week on Tuesday, April 28th, Wednesday, April 29th and on Thursday, April 30th.
“I am very excited to be bringing such incredible opportunities to our elite youth soccer players at Albion SC,” said Noah Gins, Technical Director at Albion SC. “At Albion SC, we offer access to the world of soccer. From our partnership with EPL’s Arsenal FC to having former US Women’s Head Coach Tony DiCicco – who brought home the Olympic Gold and the FIFA Women’s World Cup championship home to the USA – help us with tryouts and Austin MacPhee — selecting three players to take to Scotland this summer for training — Albion SC clearly goes beyond what other youth soccer clubs offer their players.”
